Victoria contributed  food columns to the Byron Shire Echo every week for ten years from  2003.

Her first book, a gastro-memoir entitled ‘Amore and Amaretti’, was published by Wakefield Press in 2010 and launched at the Byron Bay Writers Festival that year.

For the several years it was in print, she was food editor /co-writer for quarterly magazine ‘Sample’, a celebration of farmers, producers and lifestyle on the NSW Far North Coast, contributing many of its profiles and articles.

For eight years  she reviewed regional restaurants for The Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide, several years for the SMH ‘Good Pub Food Guide’ and two years for Fairfax’s Brisbane Good Food Guide.

Victoria has also been writing the wine blog for Code38 wine knives for the past few years.
